Busyyyyy!

For the next few days, until all the first crops are safely in the ground, it’s head down, and nose to the grindstone to get all those seeds and seedlings in! But before we started planting, we needed to put up the electric fence system to keep the critters from eating our veggies!

Setting the post.

Ross installs the lightning arrestor.

Putting the finishing touches on the solar energizer that powers the fence.

Nearly done.

Meanwhile, Mike was working on the new home for his chickens.

Mike's chicken palace is all loaded up and ready to go.

Pete and KC planting radicchio.

Flowers going in.

A trailor-load of veggies from the greenhouse, ready to plant.

Mike, Rich and Bill plant the melons. Charger does his thing with the stick...

With all this dry weather, all must be irrigated daily.

A new garden sculpture.

Even Suchi needs a little watering sometimes!
