The Mehaffey Farm is Maggie, Bill, Ross and Michael, Acacia, Desiree and Marcia. We’re a multi-generational enterprise on land in Rowley, MA that has been in our family since 1826. Our antique tractors and equipment were taken out of retirement in 2008, and we now sell crops and eggs through CSA’s and at local farmers markets. Although not certified organic, we are committed to organic practices on our farm. Along with all the tried and true vegetables, each year we add new varieties of exotic, unusual and heirloom varieties to please the gourmet palates of our sophisticated customers. Our mission is to provide the community with quality produce and other farm products that are delicious and safe to eat. To restore our family’s farming heritage while providing a fair income through responsible stewardship of the land that will maintain a healthy environment for future generations. To build community and promote a stimulating, educational environment so that future generations can experience farming as a viable, ethical, and productive way of life.

Hey Maggie,
How can I get some of that honey maple hickory-smoked Salmon and the hickory smoked cheddar cheese? I would love to buy some!
Love your cousin,
~Anna~
Hi Anna Dear! I will definitely keep you in mind next time we get out the smoker!!
I hear there is big money in growing dental floss and albino blackberries….think about it!
Very funny Graham!
Hi, Maggie,
I received a beautiful letter from Larry Tenney, who serendipitously visited with Isabel in 1982. If you send me your email I’ll pass it on to you. I’m at heatheraa@aol.com.
Here’s my email! Thanks Heather! Maggie

Hi Heather, I just found your article online. It is so beautifully done in every detail. I have tears in my eyes seeing our story from your perspective! Wow! Did we really do all that?? Sometimes I get so mired in the day to day details that I forget to look at the big picture. My family is going to love this! Thank you very much for such a lovely testament to all our labors! Hope to see you in Gloucester tomorrow! Maggie
